Voodoo Lily

As the weather is getting warmer I decided to plant out my Voodoo Lily (Konjac) bulb. Having never done it before I did some research and received plenty of conflicting answers. In the end I decided to plant it around 10cm deep in potting mix and left it in a shaded area.

Sorry again about the picture quality. I am using a new (very cheap) action camera and the picture quality leaves a lot to be desired.

The bulb itself. The roots actually grow from the nodules on the top and then grow down. The main growth comes from the centre.

Planted about 10cm deep in potting mix

Labelled, watered and place in a shaded position.

Update 7/11/2017

I noticed growth sticking out of the soil about a week ago. Unfortunately before I could get a picture it looks like a mouse took a bite out of it. The mouse problem is now resolved and it has come back with vengeance.
